Gift Subscription Terms

• Gift Subscriptions are one-time transferable subscriptions.
• Gift Subscriptions must be transferred within one (1) year after date of issue.
• To transfer the Gift Subscription, the original purchaser ("Purchaser") shall provide the subscription recipient ("Recipient") with a special transfer code provided on the gift subscription. Upon registration and entry of the transfer code, the Gift Subscription will be transferred to Recipient and activated.
• Gift Subscriptions that are not transferred and activated by Recipient within one (1) year after date of issue will, without further notice, activate on the day following the anniversary date of issue for the account of Purchaser. Upon activation, Netflix will notify Purchaser at the e-mail address associated with Purchaser's registration at Netflix.com and/or the billing address submitted with the Gift Subscription purchase. Netflix is not responsible for fulfilling any Gift Subscription if not timely activated by the Recipient or if Netflix is unable to reach the Purchaser using the e-mail address associated with Purchaser's registration at Netflix.com and/or the billing address submitted with the Gift Subscription purchase. Purchaser must notify Netflix of any contact information changes by updating Purchaser's personal information located at the "Your Account" button of the Netflix website.
• Gift Subscriptions are good in the 50 United States and its territories and possessions only.
• Gift Subscriptions are nonrefundable.
• Gift Subscriptions are not redeemable or refundable for cash.
• Gift Subscriptions cannot be combined with any other special or free offers.
• Gift Subscriptions denominations may not be divided and are redeemable for a consecutive-month membership under the Netflix Standard Program - 3 DVDs out at a time.
• Recipients will need a valid credit card to activate the membership.
• During the Gift Subscription period, the subscriber (Recipient or Purchaser, as applicable) will not be charged as long as the subscriber is on the Netflix Standard Program Netflix will begin to bill the subscriber's credit card for monthly subscription fees plus applicable sales tax at the completion of the gift subscription period unless the subscriber cancels prior to the end of the period. The Netflix Standard Program is a month-to-month subscription cancelable at anytime. Click the "Your Account" button for cancellation instructions. No refund or credits for partial periods.
• Not responsible for lost or stolen Gift Subscriptions.
• Gift Subscriptions and their use are subject to our general Terms and Conditions.
• Netflix reserves the right to change the Terms of Use from time to time in its sole discretion.
